The Holy Mass is considered by many believers to possess a profound and transformative power that extends beyond a mere religious ritual. It is viewed as a sacred encounter with the divine, a source of spiritual strength, and a communal expression of faith. The power of the Holy Mass is multi-faceted and encompasses spiritual, communal, and personal dimensions. 1. Spiritual Nourishment: At the heart of the Holy Mass is the Liturgy of the Eucharist, where bread and wine are consecrated and believed to become the actual Body and Blood of Christ. For believers, receiving the Eucharist is a sacred act that provides spiritual sustenance. The encounter with Christ in the Eucharist is seen as a source of grace, healing, and a deepening of one's relationship with God. The spiritual nourishment received during the Mass is thought to strengthen the soul and guide individuals in their journey of faith. 2. Communal Unity: The Holy Mass is a communal celebration where believers come together
Inside the $760M restoration of Notre Dame cathedral The new rooster is added to the top of Notre Dame cathedral in Paris on December 16, as rebuilding continues after a catastrophic fire in 2019. While the spire is still currently encased in scaffolding, the 860-year-old building will reopen in 2024. As tourists and Parisian gathered outside the UNESCO-listed cathedral to admire the return of one of its most emblematic features — for now, still encased in scaffolding — the Notre Dame worksite remained in full swing. Nearly 500 craftspeople are busy with rebuilding efforts, working to ensure the Parisian landmark is ready for its grand reopening to the public less than a year from now. “It’s fascinating to see how something of such historical value is being restored,” said Stephan Book, a tourist visiting Paris from Sweden with his daughter and 80-year-old father. “And the ambition to do it all in five years,” he added, “It’s like when Kennedy said (humans) were going to the moon.” So

The two Nigerians, who claimed to be cousins, were identified as Imran Kabir, 24, and Jamilu Sani, 25 years of age. They were arrested by Border Security Force (BSF) personnel after a hot chase. “Both wanted to go to Pakistan for pursuing Islamic studies. Sani had a Nigerian passport, while Kabir didn’t. We recovered five printouts taken from Google maps of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq. They described Iraq as their final destination,” a BSF spokesperson said. The duo got to the checkpost at about 5.50am in a stolen swift dzire taxi. The BSF said they had hired the taxi from Delhi and made off with it on reaching Amritsar when the driver, with whom they had a tiff on Thursday night over the fare, was asleep. They parked the car close to the border and enquired about the route to Pakistan. They were told that the border was closed at that time, but rather than leaving, they waited near the car. The BSF personnel, who are ever on high alert, got suspicious and approached them
