Che lei ci custodisca in quest’anno. Oggi il Vangelo ci svela che la grandezza di Maria non consiste nel compiere qualche azione straordinaria; piuttosto, mentre i pastori, ricevuto l’annuncio dagli angeli, si affrettano verso Betlemme (cfr Lc 2,15-16), lei rimane in silenzio.
