Anticamente si usava misurare il tempo svuotando e riempiendo delle anfore: quando erano vuote cominciava un nuovo lasso di tempo, che terminava quando erano piene. Ecco la pienezza del tempo: quando l’anfora della storia è colma, la grazia divina trabocca: Dio si fa uomo e lo fa nel segno di una donna, Maria.
