President-General of the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, is dead. He died in Abuja on Thursday morning. Chief Iwuanyanwu was 82-yeaars-old. Dr Hannah Durkin, an historian and former Newcastle University lecturer, has unearthed evidence that two slave ships landed in Cuba in 1872.
