BREAKING: Court remands Emefiele in EFCC custody for alleged abuseof office

An Ikeja High Court has ruled that the former Central BankGovernor, Godwin Emefiele, be remanded in the custody of the Economic and FinancialCrimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged abuse of office and $4.5 billion, N2.8billion fraud. The former CBN Governor was arraigned in the court on Monday,April 8, 2024,  morning Details later.

While the spire is still currently encased in scaffolding, the 860-year-old building will reopen in 2024.
